Privacy policy

Last updated October 1, 2026

This policy explains what information GHC Network collects, how it is used, and the choices members have. GHC Network is operated by Global Health Forum, 303 5th Avenue, New York.

Information we collect

Account details you provide (name, email, role, organisation, city), verification data such as NPI or license numbers, profile content, posts and messages, service bookings and payment records, and basic usage data such as pages viewed and device type.

How we use it

To verify members, run the directory, feed, services and chapters, process payments, send the notifications you choose, keep the network safe, and improve the product. We do not sell personal information.

Who can see your information

Profiles are visible only to verified members, subject to your privacy settings. Messages are visible only to their participants. Payment providers receive what they need to process transactions.

Analytics and AI-assisted insights

The GHC Network team uses analytics to run the network: counts of activity such as posts, connections, bookings, applications and RSVPs, and which members took those actions. Pages viewed and searches are only ever counted in aggregate and are never linked to you. Staff receive briefings written with the help of an AI model (Anthropic's Claude). It is given aggregate figures and public content only, such as feed posts, service listings, jobs and events, with member names replaced by placeholders. It never receives your private messages, email address or verification numbers.

Your choices

You can edit or hide your profile, change notification settings, download your data, or close your account at any time from Settings.

Retention and security

We keep account data while your account is open and for a limited period afterwards for legal and accounting purposes. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
